The Dhansura people's Co-operative Bank Ltd. Arts & Commerce College is situated in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat State near by Modasa. Dhansura is a rural and backward area with the population of near 25,000. The main source of income of this people is agricultural and cattle breeding. Most of the people are Anjana Patel and their main aim is to make their wards teachers (PTC & B.Ed.). So the need of higher education was not fulfilled, specially the girl students, the parent of girl students were not ready to send their children for higher education outside of the village, so to satisfy the need of higher education, the main donor President late Shri Vadibhai P. Mehta, Ex. MLA, Bombay, the Social leader of Sabarkantha and Dhansura Predesh Education Society laid the foundation of this College and in this way from June-1985,

The Dhasura Peoples Co-op Bank Ltd. Mahila Arts and Commerce College was established and the dream of higher education for girls came true. It was the first Mahila College in Sabarkantha district and run very well and strength of students increased gradually after some years. We started first Co-education in Commerce faculty and then in Arts faculty.

In this way Dhansura Arts and Commerce College came into existence and is run well. We had also started the Home Science subject for girls students for the practical knowlwdge of food and nutrition. This college was started with 90 students and now it has nearly 1000 students. We can also see the development of college in all aspects.

To prepare the students to cope up with the changing global human and social values.

To make them competent in the context of social and economic need.

The institute tries to develop the overall healthy personality of the students to contribute in the development of region and nation.
