TITLE: ONLINE EDUCATION: A BIGGEST CHALLENGE
OBJECTIVES OF THE PRACTICE-
To set up recurring online instruction for students.
To train faculty members on the MS Team online teaching platform.
To prepare students for the use of online teaching software.
To teach teachers how to produce video lectures and other online content.
To share academic information through Facebook and WhatsApp.
To perform administrative tasks, such as collecting fees and processing admissions, online.
To set up and announce the results of the internal exam online.
Co-curricular and extracurricular activities are planned online.
The Covid-19 pandemic spread throughout the entire world. And the entire nation was placed under lockdown. In these unique situations, plans had to be made to ensure that the college's academic and administrative operations would not be hindered. It became essential in these situations to begin online learning by utilizing technology to its fullest. Training on online education software was necessary for both staff and students. Working during a pandemic that only occurs once every hundred years presented a challenge for the organization.
Its practice:
When it came to handling touching online under specific conditions, the IQAC was consulted. MS TEAM software for online teaching has been made available to the institute by the Government of Gujarat.
The institute provided all of the teachers with training on MS Team software.
All student classes were divided into teams in MS Team, and each student's user ID and password were created. Each class's WhatsApp group was used to spread these user ID passwords.
Students received instruction on how to use and download the Microsoft Team software to their mobile devices. Lectures were scheduled in accordance with the schedule that the instructors had given them.
The Principal, and Vice-Principal continuously observed the regular academic work.
Through the college's software, the entire admissions process and fee collection were conducted online.
Using the college's online software, the internal exams were completed successfully.
Additionally, MS Team was used to organize the extracurricular, co-curricular, and curricular activities online. Online lectures by a variety of experts on a range of subjects were also organized.
EVIDENCE OF SUCCESS:
Teachers in every subject complete academic work with a perfect score of 00%.
Assignments, online exams, and internal tests were used to continuously evaluate the students. The students' university exams yielded positive results.
Throughout the year, teachers uploaded numerous videos to both their personal and college YouTube channels, which helped students.
BEST PRACTICE-2 TITLE: A STEP AHEAD TO QUALITY EDUCATION
OBJECTIVES OF THE PRACTICE
To comprehend the new NAAC online format and put in a lot of effort to get a good grade.
To support and encourage Gujarat's higher education institutions in the area to apply for NAAC accreditation.
To offer direction on the new online NAAC accreditation format, the institute is hosting National Seminars.
Visit the closest university and share ideas for high-quality instruction.
THE CONTEXT:
The NAAC accreditation procedure is crucial for raising the caliber of institutions of higher learning. In order to improve their perceptions of the institution, it was determined to include all stakeholders at every stage of the process.
It was determined to fully comprehend the new online format of NAAC in order to receive a good grade in NAAC accreditation. To work toward raising awareness of NAAC accreditation even among nearby universities and to contribute to raising the standard of instruction at these establishments. The principal and IQAC agreed to serve as mentors to the nearby higher education institutions, allowing them to gain from this accreditation's experience and participate in efforts to raise the standard of higher education.
THE PRACTICE
Initially, committees were established in accordance with NAAC guidelines. Working on their respective criteria was the task given to each of these committees.
Information about every aspect of the organization's operations was gathered. The NAAC Self Study Report included an analysis and appropriate presentation of this data.
In accordance with the Qualitative and Quantitative Metrics of each criterion, IQAC prepared the necessary data and documents, which it then uploaded online via the NAAC portal.

ABOUT COLLEGE
The Social leader of Sabarkantha and Dhansura Predesh Education Society laid the foundation of this College and in this way from June-1985, The Dhasura Peoples Co-op Bank Ltd. Mahila Arts and Commerce College was established and the dream of higher education for girls came true. It was the first Mahila College in Sabarkantha district and run very well and strength of students increased gradually after some years. We started first Co-education in Commerce faculty and then in Arts faculty. In this way Dhansura Arts and Commerce College came into existence and is run well.
